CSC.health is proud to announce that we will be awarding three scholarships to MUSC’s Inaugural Update on Medical Cannabis Conference being held 9/28/18 in Charleston. We feel that this is a great opportunity to gain insight into this important subject as well as breaking ground on the medical community’s acknowledgement of marijuana’s medicinal value in South Carolina.

Applications are being accepted through 12pm this Monday, September 10th. Please submit a one paragraph explanation of why you are well suited to gain knowledge at the conference and how you will implement this knowledge to help patients throughout the state. Medical professionals and advocates are encouraged to apply. Email us at [email protected] with your full name, any credentials and contact information as well as the paragraph.

Medical cannabis is proven to be a safe and effective treatment option for a broad range of serious medical conditions. A vast majority of Americans recognize the legitimate medical benefits of cannabis, as well as a large number of renowned medical organizations. The American Medical Association, The American College of Physicians, and the Institute of Medicine have all acknowledged the potential benefits of medical cannabis, and several additional major health organizations support legal access to medical marijuana, including the American Public Health Association and the American Nurses Association. CSC.health is a non-profit, patient advocacy organization, committed to South Carolina patients. Patients need options and can positively influence their healthcare decisions through education and advocacy.

Want to be a part of a day of education and networking with medical, research and legal experts? Apply today! A full description of the CME / CEU credits, key speakers and agenda may be found on the MUSC website at: MUSC Conference Link
